STATEMENT

Abstract painter working in acrylics and oils with a sustained focus on layered markmaking and expressive composition. My practice engages themes of geological and coastal time, residue, and emotional interiority. Materiality as a vehicle for meaning rather than ornament. Work rooted in intuitive, process-led methodology with attention to material behaviour and tonal architecture.

Art classes: Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons at Unity Art Studio. Focus on process-led mark-making and intuitive approaches to abstraction.

Leaseholder and director of Unity Art Studio, a multi-use creative complex comprising artist studio spaces, a working gallery, retail shop, and accessible workshop facilities. Active in artist recruitment and community programming.
